Antique Chinese trunk
c. 1830
Made for the Chinese export market.Made of solid camphor-wood and brass bound, some edges have been repalced. The carrying handles on the ends are original. This size of trunk is ideal as a 21st century coffee table. The whole is supported on later Victorian ceramic castors, it makes it much easier to move around if needs be.
