Circa 1780
A large 18th century mahogany cutlery urn with boxwood line inlaid decoration. The top section is crowned with a stylized pineapple above the domed section. The fifteen sided pentadecagon is supported by three long shaped supports with a central carved and turned column. The whole is on a circular inlaid base. The stepped interior is designed to hold a set of cutlery 'spoons'. A/F: Minor splits and repairs.
