Circa 1770
A very fine and unusual serpentine fronted bedside night table or commode, virtually identical to one in lady Morley's bedroom at the National Trust property, Saltram, in Devon.
Possibly from the workshops of Thomas Chippendale who supplied furniture to the house. Note the unusual foot.
