Circa 1835
Late Regency period carved gilt-wood pier mirror in a restraint Gothic design retaining the original gilding which is soft and mellow.
Very interesting trade and makers labels on the back boards; 160 New Bond Street, London. Bought of W.J Copeland & Sons (late Spode & Copeland), Porcelain, Earthenware and glass Manufacturers. Manufactory at Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. There is also a hand written note by W.J. Copeland dated 28/7/73.
