A beautifully painted pastoral scene with cows in the foreground having a town or village in the background on the right side of the view. A young Lady is sitting on a hillock holding a small child, in the partial shade of a large tree while in conversation with a gentleman wearing a hat on the other side of a gate. A dwelling is on his left.
The whole is executed on an oak panel.
In the manner of Eugène Verboeckhoven pastoral scene with animals in foreground, water and town or village in the background.
