Very pretty 19th Century French mother of pearl and ormolu perfume etui in the form of an egg. Raised on an oval marble base. The mounted closing shell with a central stem and crescent and sphere finial opening to reveal the four original cut glass silver top scent bottles housed in pierced holders.
One sent bottle bears a label L.T. Piver. This famous French perfume house, established in 1774, known for its classic and timeless fragrances. They are one of the oldest French perfumeries, having served the court of Louis XVI and later, royal families across Europe.
