19th century Side Cabinet

19th century Side Cabinet
Circa 1810
A fine George III period rosewood break-fronted side cabinet strung throughout in ebony. The top is inlaid with a wide crossbanding of satinwood.
The central pair of doors are flanked by a single door on each side all with pleated silk panels. The cupboards each incorporate two non-adjustable shelves.
The whole is raised on square tapering feet.
The colour of the rosewood has faded to a gorgeous honey colour and as the proportions of this piece are small and shallow it makes it the perfect piece for an apartment or small house.
