Large Early 19th Century Mahogany Cellarette
Circa 1810
A circular mahogany lidded cellarette in the manner of 'Hope', retaining its original interior. Similar piece is illustrated plate XIII, Household Furniture of Duchess Street Thomas Hope in 1807.
This fine model has a circular domed top, with a central spiral knob, with finely carved plam leaves. The main body has a massive gadrooned urn-shaped body which is on a turned pedestal on a square base raised on four wooden castors. English circa 1810
