17th century print by Basililus Besler

Print taken from the Hortus Eystettensis Book of Botanical Prints, dated 1613 by the pharmacist, Basilius Besler. It took Besler 16 years under the patronage of bishop-prince of Eichstatt of Germany to list all the plants in the bishops garden. Sadly, the bishop died not long before the book was completed.
