18th century Scottish snuff mull
An interesting snuff mull, ‘Nessy’, made out of a rams horn and cleverly stylised to imitate the Loch Ness Monster. The lid which is opened on a beautifully made brass hinge, is also made of horn and decorated with incised chipped decoration (chipwork).
